Coolers, Outside Food & Beverages

 

Coolers, picnic baskets and outside food & beverage products are not allowed in the waterpark. Glass containers and alcohol are prohibited. Backpacks, handbags and other carry in bags will be physically checked at the main gate by waterpark staff for contents violating waterpark policy. A guest picnic area, outside the main gate, is available for your use.

 

Supervision

 

Guests age 10 & under are required to have a guardian age 13 or older present on park grounds during visit.

 

Usage

 

Guests are prohibited from running, diving, unruly behavior, daredevil stunts & horseplay. Additional rules and ride procedures posted at each attraction.

 

Personal Belongings

 

Castaway Cove Waterpark is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lockers are available for rent on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

Swim Diapers

 

Infants, toddlers, and children age three and under must wear a swim diaper specifically designed and marketed for water use. Swim diapers may be purchased in our Retail Store.

 

Swim Attire

 

Shorts (esp. denim) or clothing with plastic or metal rivets that may damage slide surfaces, thongs, G-strings, “Speedos”, and swim attire made of see-through material when wet or dry are prohibited.

 

Flotation Devices

 

Outside flotation devices (example: tubes, rafts, etc.) are prohibited and not allowed to be brought into the waterpark. Tubes and rafts are provided for any rides or attractions that require tubes, rafts or riding devices. For those guests who would like to have their own tube for the day, rental tubes will be available for a nominal charge. Life jackets are provided free of charge.

 

Inclement Weather

 

During inclement weather (example: lightning, severe storms, etc.) attractions may be temporarily closed. Guests must exit the water and take cover until management deems it safe to re-open. If the park is closed for more than one hour or for the duration of the day, “rain checks” may be given.

 

Safety / Supervision

 

For your safety and convenience Castaway Cove provides trained management and aquatic/lifeguard staff during all operating hours.

 

Tobacco Products & Adult Beverages

 

Smoking is not allowed in the waterpark. All beverages, including alcoholic beverages are prohibited the waterpark grounds or from being brought into the waterpark. However, guests may purchase alcoholic beverages at the Tropical Bar. Proper ID must be shown at time of purchase.

 

Weapons

 

Firearms, knives, or weapons of any type are prohibited on park property.

Annie’s Quest

Instructions Attraction may be used by guests over 36″. Weight of guest may not exceed 100lbs. Mat needed and provided at end of attraction. One rider at a time per mat. Please ride headfirst on mat, lying on stomach holding the handles. No standing, walking, kneeling, or crawling. Please wait outside launch area until Lifeguard instructs you to enter ride. Please do not attempt to slow down, stop, grab parts of ride, or items on or near ride. If ride comes to a stop, remain lying on mat and await Lifeguard instructions. Please exit landing area immediately upon finishing attraction, other guests may be coming behind you. Please give ride vehicle to next rider or stack it in appropriate place.

Warnings Water depth on ride and landing area varies from 1″ to 8″. Force of water may alter bathing suits. Do not intentionally swallow or put pool water in mouth. No cutting in line or holding places for other guests. Violators will be required to go to end of line. Guests are prohibited from running, diving, unruly behavior, daredevil stunts & horseplay. Instructions Attraction may be used by guests over 36″. Weight of guest may not exceed 250lbs. Ride vehicle is not allowed on attraction. One rider at a time. Please ride feet first, lying on back with legs crossed at ankles and arms crossed over chest. Slide performance may decrease with Lifejacket use. No standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, or headfirst riding. Please wait outside launch area until Lifeguard gives instructions to enter ride. Please do not attempt to slow down, stop, grab parts of ride, or items on or near ride. If ride comes to a stop, remain seated in slide and await Lifeguard instructions. Please exit landing area immediately upon finishing attraction. Other guests may be coming behind you.

Warnings Water depth on ride and landing area varies from 1″ to 8″. Force of water may alter bathing suits. Do not intentionally swallow or put water in mouth. Please ride seated in tube holding the handles. No standing or kneeling. Please wait outside launch area until Lifeguard instructs you to enter. Please do not attempt to slow down, stop, grab parts of ride, or items on or near ride. When ride comes to a complete stop, exit ride immediately. Please give riding tube to next rider or stack it in appropriate place.

Warnings Force of water may alter bathing suits. Do not intentionally swallow or put water in mouth. No cutting in line or holding places for other guests. Violators will be required to go to end of line. No running, diving, unruly behavior, daredevil stunts & horseplay. Instructions Single tube not needed but provided at end of attraction. One rider, except in case of small child riding in parents lap. No trains or groups of tubes. Please ride seated in the tube holding handles. Please enter/exit at (stairs, ladder, ramp, launch ramp, beach, designated areas, designated exits, slide run-out) only.

Warnings Water depth varies from 0″ to 6″. Attraction has waves. Wave action begins after buzzer sounds. Do not go past, or hang on life line at deep end of pool. Do not intentionally swallow or put pool water in mouth. Regular diapers not allowed in any attraction/pool. Swim diapers available for purchase at Retail store. Life jackets available in storage containers located at shallow end of shipwreck beach at no charge, first-come first-serve basis. Please keep furniture out of pool/water. Please do not stack, stand or kneel on tubes. Guests are prohibited from running, diving, unruly behavior, daredevil stunts & horseplay. Attraction not recommended for expectant mothers, persons with history of neck, back, joint, or heart problems, overweight persons, or persons with physically limiting conditions. Instructions Ride vehicle is not allowed in pool. Please enter/exit at stairs, ladder, or from Nellie′s Rolling River only. While using water volleyball/basketball please do not hang on net, put fellow guest on shoulders, or throw ball at guest. One guest at a time on crossing activity. Do not shake net while guest is crossing. Attraction may be used by guests under 36″. Please exit landing area immediately upon finishing attraction. Other guests may be coming behind you.

Warnings Water depth varies from 3′4″ to 3′6″. Do not intentionally swallow or put pool water in mouth. Regular diapers not allowed in any attraction/pool. Swim diapers available for purchase at Retail store. Life jackets available in storage containers located at shallow end of shipwreck beach at no charge, first-come first-serve basis. Please keep furniture out of pool/water. Please do not stack, stand or kneel on tubes. Guests are prohibited from running, diving, unruly behavior, daredevil stunts & horseplay. Instructions Attraction maybe used by guest(s) over 42″. Attraction intended for two guests per vehicle. Combined weight of guests may not exceed 400 lbs. Single riders only permitted for reasons of excess combined weight or no riding partner, but must use double tube and weight cannon exceed 300 lbs. Double tube is needed and provided at end of attraction. Two riders at a time per tube. Please ride feet first seated in tube, facing forward, holding handles with heaviest or single rider seated near the rear. No standing, walking, kneeling, crawling, or headfirst riding. Please wait outside launch area until the Lifeguard instructs you to enter ride. Please do not attempt to slow down, stop, grab parts of ride, or items on or near ride. If ride comes to a stop, remain lying vehicle and await Lifeguard instructions. Please exit landing area immediately upon finishing attraction, other guests may be coming behind you. Please exit landing area immediately upon finishing attraction, other guests may be coming behind you.
