The Wichita Falls Transportation Department offers convenient low-cost bus service to the Castaway Cove Waterpark for anyone living on or near Sheppard Air Force Base.
For a fun-filled day at the park simply catch the North Route (Yellow Route) Bus outside the main gate of the base located at Sheppard Access Road and Burkburnett Road. This will take riders to the 4th Street transfer station where they will catch the East Side Route (Blue Route) and then on to Castaway Cove. To return to the base simply reverse the instructions by riding Blue then Yellow.
The cost each way for adults is $1.00; children and students (including college students) with ID are $0.50 each way. Junior High and High School kids can purchase a summer bus pass that allows them to ride for the entire summer for $5.00. Adults can purchase a monthly pass or 20 ride punch card at various rates.
