All Dog Invited to 1^st Annual Waterpark Swim Event

Proceeds from the Event to Benefit Local Animal Clinic

Summer is not over at Castaway Cove Waterpark. The regional waterpark invites dogs and their owners to splash together for its first ever Dog Days of Summer on Saturday, September 9 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. It’s the first time Castaway Cove is inviting guests to bring their furry, four-legged friends to the waterpark and a portion of the proceeds will benefit P.E.T.S., a low cost spay and neuter clinic in Wichita Falls.

“Dogs are a part of our family just as much as our siblings and parents,” said General Manager Steve Vaughn. “Dog Days of Summer invites our furry family members to join in the same water-filled fun our guests have enjoyed all summer long. It’s one more chance for our guests to visit Castaway Cove for the summer and to bring their dog with them.”

Dogs and their owners will be able to swim down Nellie’s Rolling River, splash around in Shipwreck Beach and play in Buccaneer Bay. The cost for the Dog Days of Summer event is $25 for a family of up to four people and up to two dogs. Guests are required to complete a waiver which can be downloaded here: DOG WAIVER

***NO Puppies under the age of 4 months ( this insures all vaccines can and should have been administered). All puppies 6 months and older must be spayed/neutered.

DOG DAY OF SUMMER IS A SPECIAL EVENT AND NOT INCLUDED WITH SEASON PASS.

Partners for this event include PetSmart, Two Sisters Bakery, Texas Pit Crew, Emily’s Legacy and the Humane Society of Wichita County. Dan & Cindy’s Pet Salon will be at the waterpark to provide free nail trimmings for dogs attending the event.

Castaway Cove Waterpark is now open weekends and special days through September 9^th.
